Power Grease Trap Blocks consume grease, fats, oils,
foods, etc. dramatically reducing costly grease trap
maintenance and eliminating odors. Every block contains
23 billion bacteria (5 different types) per ounce
ensuring fast, continuous consumption even when harsh
chemicals enter the trap! Grease Trap
Blocks consume
grease, fats, oils, food, etc. dramatically reducing
costly grease trap maintenance and eliminating odors.
Every block contains 23 billion bacteria (5 different
types) per ounce ensuring fast, continuous consumption
even when harsh chemicals enter the trap. Grease trap
blocks dissolve slowly, continuously adding to the number
of bacteria available to consume grease. X-Tra Power
Grease Trap Blocks will quickly increase the number of
bacteria so that grease continues to be consumed.
Easy To Use: Simply
toss the block into the grease trap. The block dissolves
slowly releasing billions of bacterial spores which
consume grease and multiply to form more grease eating
bacteria.
Product Size / Strength
Recommendations: We recommend using approximately 1
ounce for every 5-10 gallons of the grease traps capacity
(example: less than 30 gallon trap use one 3 oz. block,
30-60 gallon traps use two 3 oz. blocks, 60 to 90 gallon
traps use one 8 oz. block, etc.) 100-500 gallon trap size
use one 4.5 lb. block. 500-1000 gallon trap size use two
4.5 lb. blocks. 1000+ gallon trap size use three 4.5 lb.
blocks.
The highly respected
American Culinary Institute, after thoroughly testing
numerous products in the grease trap category, has
honored the Grease Trap Block as the best in its class.
This coveted award and
recognition is of great significance and we are very
pleased to have this new product join the Ultra Odors
Gone family of quality products.
For Best Results when
using X-Tra Power Grease Trap
- Determine gallon
capacity of trap
- Measure trap
in feet- multiply depth x width x height
(ex. 2 ft depth x 3 ft. Width x 3 ft.
height)
- Multiply
cubic feet x 7.5 to calculate gallon
capacity.
(ex. 18 cubic feet x 7.5 = 135
gallons)
- Determine the
distance from the sink to the trap. The smaller
the distance, the hotter the water flowing into
the trap and the faster the block will dissolve.
If the trap is within 5 feet of the sink, use no
smaller than an 8 ounce block. DO NOT PLACE BLOCK
UNDER INCOMING WATER.
- Determine the types
of food flowing into the trap. Large pieces of
meat and vegetable are hard for bacteria to
digest quickly. Additional blocks may be required
for larger food items.
- Clean trap prior to
block placement. If this is not possible, double
the block dosage.
- Block placement
- Put block in
water- DO NOT put in top layer of grease.
Block needs to dissolve in water.
- DO NOT place
block directly in front of the water
intake area. This will dissolve the block
prematurely.
- 4 ½ lb.
block can either be placed at the bottom
of the trap or suspended by a hook as
long as it is submerged in the water.
